Welcome

Now based in Essex, painter and printmaker Paul Finn grew up in Yorkshire and studied at Ravensbourne College of Art and postgraduate Fine Art at the Slade. After this he was appointed Brinkley Fellow at Norwich School of Art. He has been painting and teaching for 30 years. Since graduating his work has been exhibited in a wide variety of venues in the UK including the Hayward Gallery, the Whitechapel Gallery, The Russell Coates Gallery in Bournemouth, and the Rowley Gallery in London. With the support of the British Council his work has been included in exhibitions abroad, and his work can be found in numerous private and public collections in the United Kingdom, the USA and Asia.

New print
I have posted my new Lithograph " Strumble Head Lighthouse ". You will find it on page 2 of the print section. It was printed at the Curwen Studio in Linton near Cambridge. The studio is run by Stanley Jones who in his time has printed with Giacometti, Severini, Soulages, Henry Moore, John Piper and Paula Rego, to name but a few. I am planning to develop this print by introducing a little colour.

New work
I have just posted the first of the paintings of Northern California. You can find it in the " New Work " section. I went out there at the end of October last returning in November.
